EXCLUSIVE: Catch and spin limit has been raised to 600 daily

Niantic has recently raised the daily catch and spin limit from 500 to 600. This exclusive information has been verified by level 40 trainers across the world, with reports coming in that 600 is, indeed, the new maximum daily limit once you reach the initial weekly limit.

Essentially, trainers are now guaranteed 600 catches and pokéstop spins per day, up from 500 catches and spins. In regards to the 3500 weekly limit, it is still unknown whether that limit has increased, as reports are still mixed for any changes to the weekly cap.

While this change would likely affect only about 1% of trainers, it’s a much needed reprieve from events like the Pokémon GO Travel Event, where the goal is to constantly grind and catch pokémon in order to unlock an achievement. This could also positively affect trainers who frequently camp at major hotspots such as St. Vital Park, where one can easily catch 500 pokémon and spin 500 stops in 3 hours.
