Hello PegCity! Hope the heat’s not getting into all of you, but Eevee Community Weekend is coming up in less than 48 hours!
Given the expected weather and unexpected nest cycle changes, we’ll be doing things a bit different this time around.
Community Managers will be based in two locations only this weekend: Assiniboine Park and The Forks. If you have your Silph Road Traveller Card, you can check in with myself, Remy (KingLibrus), or Tara (candycoatedice) at Assiniboine Park, or Drew (Dorianenigma) at The Forks.
If you plan to go to St. Vital Park or the University of Manitoba for Community Weekend, please take a screenshot of your game at the park or campus between 1 and 4pm, as well as any Eevee with Last Resort caught between 1 and 4pm either day, and one of us will retroactively check you in.
If you plan to attend Community Weekend at Assiniboine Park or The Forks, we will have an exclusive contest for everyone in the two locations at 3pm, where there will be a prize (or prizes!). The contest will involve a race to see who can catch the most shiny Eevees between 3 and 3:30pm. If you’re interested in the contest, please be at the following locations before 3pm:
• Assiniboine Park: Leo Mol Gardens
• The Forks: Base of the Observation Tower inside the market
These locations will also be where you’ll find us for Silph Road check-in purposes.
There will also be a contest where everybody can participate, regardless of location. More information will be provided after day 1 of Community Weekend, but have Shiny Eevees that you intend to evolve to Shiny Espeon or Umbreon ready for this contest!
